What is the purpose of Attraction?

  • To continually and proactively communicate and engage with your community.
  • To promote the benefits, opportunities, and attractiveness of your service as an employer.

This is achieved by sharing, engaging and truthful information regarding employment in the fire service, to raise awareness and interest and to boost the volume and quality of applicants for all roles. 

Sharing this information can be achieved using a variety of methods:

  • Direct contact by fire service employees/representatives
  • Indirect messaging via social media
  • Recommendation and referral
  • Everyone employed in or associated with your fire service can play a part.
